    About the role#

    General Dynamics Mission Systems is hiring an Engineering Intern to support programs related to national defense. You will work alongside experienced teams on various technical projects. This position provides a chance to apply your academic knowledge to real-world defense services.

    What you'll do#

    • Apply skills learned in the classroom to programs supporting national defense.
    • Work on projects that contribute to core mission objectives.
    • Collaborate with technical teams on project tasks.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an accredited degree program for Computer, Systems, Software, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
    • A preference for students with sophomore standing or higher.
    • A thorough understanding of engineering technology.
    • U.S. citizenship is required to meet eligibility for access to classified information.
    • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. A current Secret clearance is preferred at the time of hire.

    Location & details#

    • This role is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
    • The work is on-site.
    • This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
