About the role#
The Sales Development Program at Geoprobe Systems is a summer internship designed to prepare you for a career in technical sales. You will rotate through three departments to build skills in product knowledge, communication, and collaboration. You will work with staff to learn how to match customers with the right equipment and build long-term relationships.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through the Distribution, Service, and Sales departments.
- Learn company products, internal processes, and manufacturing communication on the Distribution team.
- Gain hands-on experience and technical problem-solving skills on the Service team by working with various drilling rigs.
- Build customer relationships and learn the sales process on the Sales team.
- Travel to customer locations to assist with equipment demonstrations and training.
- Perform minor service work and repairs while in the field.
What you'll need#
- Current studies in Business Administration, Marketing, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A mechanical aptitude and an interest in solving problems for others.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort working in various settings, including office, shop, and outdoor environments.
