About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to packaging operations within the Global External Manufacturing team. You will work on projects that support the transfer of packaging configurations and the implementation of new components. The role is a full-time, 10 to 12 week commitment during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the implementation of new packaging components and transfer configurations to commercial packaging sites.
- Create and execute shipping study protocols following ASTM methods and internal procedures.
- Support the development of material specifications, packaging specifications, and bills of materials.
- Collaborate with vendors to develop specifications and deliver prototypes.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external groups, including contract manufacturers and testing laboratories.
- Present your project work at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program at a nationally accredited U.S. university.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to work full-time for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Independent work authorization in the United States without the need for future sponsorship.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Relevant majors include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
