About the role#
This is a 12-week paid summer internship for students interested in engineering and manufacturing operations. You will gain experience across the full project lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to final implementation. You will work on-site at our manufacturing facility, where you will receive mentorship from our engineering and operations professionals.
What you'll do#
- Own an engineering or manufacturing operations project and present your findings to leadership.
- Support projects through the entire lifecycle, including scope, schedules, budgets, and equipment specifications.
- Collect and analyze data to recommend solutions for safety, quality, cost, or efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, quality, and safety teams.
- Work alongside contractors and vendors to support project execution.
- Apply engineering principles to solve real manufacturing challenges.
- Participate in the Pure Ambition program, which includes development workshops, networking events, and intern presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving units of measure, rates, ratios, percentages, and graph interpretation.
