About the role#
This internship provides John Deere Ag Tech students with hands-on experience in a dealership service department. You will work alongside technicians and managers to learn how to maintain and repair agricultural and turf equipment. The program combines classroom learning with shop floor practice.
What you'll do#
- Complete project assignments focused on service activities.
- Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment.
- Participate in Service EDUCATE training programs to build your skills.
- Stay current on John Deere and competitive product lines.
- Track your time and materials used for all assigned tasks.
- Follow all safety regulations while working.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an AAS degree program for the John Deere Tech curriculum.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly.
- A valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to use special tools and follow technical manuals for maintenance.

- This position is based in Dickinson, North Dakota.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- The program runs on a rolling basis.
