    About the role#

    The Government of Nova Scotia is seeking students for the Future Opportunity Stream in Technology, Innovation, and Digital Services. This program builds an inventory of students to support various government initiatives. You will work on real projects that help design, deliver, and improve digital services for residents of Nova Scotia. These roles offer hands-on experience in a professional environment where you can learn from experienced teams.

    What you'll do#

    • Support digital services used by Nova Scotians every day.
    • Help shape digital and data strategies for government programs.
    • Analyze service usage and track meaningful metrics to create insights.
    • Contribute directly to building and improving digital solutions.
    • Collaborate with professionals and share your own ideas.
    • Work on tasks related to software development, business analysis, technical support, or data management.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a post-secondary program related to Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, International Relations, Cybersecurity, or Human Resources.
    • An interest in how technology improves public services.
    • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new tools.
    • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
    • A commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.

    • Term: Summer 2026.
    • Modality: Hybrid work environments are available.
    • Status: Full-time, paid positions.
