    About the role#

    The Integrated Marketing and Digital Strategy team manages public information campaigns and government priorities. This internship offers hands-on experience in digital content creation and channel management. You will work alongside professionals to help Nova Scotians engage with government information.

    What you'll do#

    • Draft and adapt content for social media platforms.
    • Help plan content calendars and schedule posts.
    • Monitor channels and track basic performance metrics.
    • Support public-facing accounts and assist in drafting monthly newsletters.
    • Coordinate and prepare content for video projects.
    • Organize content needs and support publishing workflows.

    What you'll need#

    • Completion of a post-secondary degree, diploma, or graduate certificate in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, or a related field within the last three years.
    • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
    • Experience supporting social media planning, channel management, or digital marketing activities.
    • Experience creating content for social media, websites, or newsletters.
    • An interest in digital marketing and public communications.
    • Ability to manage multiple content priorities and deadlines.
    • An audience-focused and service-oriented approach.

    • Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
    • Term: Rolling, with an anticipated end date of August 16, 2027.
