About the role#
Join RiverSource and Wealth Management Solutions as a Marketing Innovation Intern. You will explore how new ideas, emerging technology, and creative approaches help our marketing teams engage with advisors and clients. This role is for a student interested in how tools like artificial intelligence and digital platforms shape the future of the profession. You will work alongside experienced marketing professionals to support projects across communications, content, and research.
What you'll do#
- Explore how emerging technologies and AI support marketing activities.
- Research industry trends, marketing innovations, and best practices.
- Support the development of marketing communications, presentations, and resources.
- Assist with projects focused on improving team effectiveness and the marketing experience.
- Gather insights from colleagues and stakeholders to identify new opportunities.
- Contribute to discussions on how marketing adapts in a changing environment.
- Present key learnings and project outcomes at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student graduating in December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Marketing, Advertising, or a related discipline.
- Interest in marketing and curiosity about innovation, artificial intelligence, and emerging trends.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a willingness to learn and explore new ideas.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint.
- Valid work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship.

- Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- Modality: Hybrid, with at least four days per week in the office.
