About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with corporate marketing, branding, and communications. You will work on content creation, campaign coordination, and digital strategy. You will also complete an independent research or strategic project, which you will present to the leadership and marketing teams at the end of your term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with editorial planning, collateral creation, and internal or external communications.
- Create sales flyers, advertisements, event invitations, and other promotional materials.
- Draft, edit, and schedule social media content while monitoring analytics to suggest improvements.
- Help create content for email campaigns, newsletters, and websites.
- Support the planning and execution of events like tradeshows, webinars, and educational sessions, including logistics and follow-up.
- Coordinate marketing deliverables and project timelines.
- Assist with internal communications via the company intranet, digital signage, and newsletters.
- Promote company initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and The MJ Foundation.
- Maintain communication calendars and proofread materials before distribution.
- Conduct industry research to recommend topics for media outreach.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing or have recently finished a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and InDesign, is highly preferred.

- This is an on-site position based in Carmel, Indiana.
- The role is full-time and paid.
