About the role#
This internship with the Employee Benefits Advocacy team provides exposure to the insurance industry through hands-on projects and team collaboration. You will learn how different roles work together to manage the client lifecycle across Employee Benefits and Property and Casualty departments. This is a full-time, paid position based in our Denver office.
What you'll do#
- Observe how Client Executives, Client Managers, and Client Advocates collaborate.
- Attend team meetings, department sessions, and training programs.
- Spend time with the Analytics, Population Health, and Communications teams to see how they support client deliverables.
- Join client meetings to watch how strategic recommendations are delivered.
- Complete a main project and assist with daily department tasks.
- Participate in Client Advocate training.
- Network with insurance professionals at team events.
- Prepare and present a capstone project at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Human Resources, Business, Health, Wellness, Risk Management, or Insurance.
- Strong organizational, research, and analytical skills.
- Clear communication abilities.
- A detail-oriented approach with a focus on customer service.
- A willingness to learn and contribute to a team.

- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Term: Summer 2026, May through August.
- Compensation: $17 per hour.
