About the role#
Grange Insurance is offering a 14-week internship for Summer 2026. This program provides students with hands-on work experience, mentoring, and networking opportunities. You will work within your department while collaborating on a group corporate project that concludes with a presentation to senior leaders.
What you'll do#
- Use actuarial techniques to analyze product information on various projects.
- Assist with phases of the rate review or loss reserve appraisal process.
- Collect, assimilate, and analyze data with guidance from your team.
- Develop your technical skills and expand your knowledge of actuarial practices.
- Learn about Grange products and how they compare to other insurance offerings.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a college degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Actuarial Science.
- Experience with computer systems and a working knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
- Completion of one actuarial exam is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Columbus, Ohio.
- Schedule: Full-time (38.75 hours per week).
- Work Modality: Hybrid (in office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, remote for the remaining 3 days).
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
