About the role#
Granger Construction offers a paid summer internship for students interested in construction services and estimating. This role provides a full-time, on-site experience designed to mirror the responsibilities of a permanent team member. You will contribute to active projects and work alongside our professional staff throughout the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with bid solicitation by organizing documents, engaging trade partners, and attending pre-bid meetings.
- Produce bid listings, quantity takeoffs, construction schedules, and detailed estimate reports.
- Support bid day efforts by evaluating bids and identifying potential risks or opportunities.
- Participate in job cost setups, project execution planning, and regular check-ins with on-site field teams.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor degree in civil engineering, building construction management, or a related field.
- Ability to work full-time.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfort using technology and a willingness to learn new software.

- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Lansing, East Lansing, Holt, or Grand Rapids, Michigan.
