About the role#
This Chemical Engineering Co-Op provides an opportunity to gain industry experience and apply your academic knowledge to real-world scenarios. You will work on engineering assignments and contribute to performance goals while exploring your career interests. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with ongoing engineering projects and daily departmental functions.
- Contribute to team performance goals and assigned tasks.
- Engage with professional development materials and learning opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Completed at least two semesters of coursework by the start of the term.
- Good academic standing with your school and major.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the co-op.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Curiosity and a talent for problem-solving.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A preferred GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Previous work experience or involvement in professional clubs or organizations is a plus.
