About the role#
This internship provides students with hands-on experience in the design and delivery of land planning projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world tasks. This is a full-time, paid summer 2027 opportunity that focuses on developing your technical skills and understanding how multidisciplinary teams collaborate.
What you'll do#
- Assist with engineering drawings, calculations, and project documentation.
- Support design tasks using software such as Revit, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
- Conduct research, gather data, and help prepare reports and cost estimates.
- Participate in site visits to observe project conditions and construction progress.
- Collaborate with team members to learn the project delivery process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
- Curiosity, initiative, and the ability to manage your time and tasks effectively.
- Exposure to engineering or design software is a plus.
- F-1, OPT, and H1-B visa holders are eligible for consideration.

- This is an on-site role for the summer 2027 term.
- Positions are available in Alpharetta, GA; Atlanta, GA; Lexington, KY; Louisville, KY; and Nashville, TN.
