About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Bloomington, Illinois. You will work under the direction of the Health and Welfare Analyst to support the Benefits department. The role involves assisting with communication functions, planning marketing materials for workplace wellness, and completing project-based work.
What you'll do#
- Create marketing communications materials to support workplace wellness campaigns.
- Write and distribute employee communications regarding benefits information and events.
- Conduct research to support department staff with various projects.
- Facilitate an employee education session.
- Produce direct mailers, presentations, and program introduction materials for GROWMARK and its subsidiaries.
- Participate in all internship program activities, including mentoring, networking, and a final project presentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel independently, including occasional overnight trips.
- Ability to work for at least 12 weeks starting by May 24, 2027.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Bloomington, Illinois.
- You must be available to attend three required internship events: Orientation (May 24-25, 2027), a Mid-Summer Meeting (June 28-30, 2027), and a Conclusion Meeting (August 11-12, 2027).
