About the role#
CHS Inc. is hiring four Recruiting Interns to join the Field Talent Acquisition Team for the winter and spring term, running from January 2027 through May 2027. This role focuses on supporting high-volume hiring for seasonal spring planting needs across the country. You will gain hands-on experience in the full recruitment life cycle, including sourcing, screening, and project management while working remotely.
What you'll do#
- Identify and source candidates for approximately 300 seasonal openings.
- Manage the recruitment process, from posting jobs and reviewing resumes to conducting interviews and performing competitive analysis.
- Use applicant tracking systems and recruiting software to manage candidate data.
- Collaborate with recruiters, HR business partners, and hiring managers to ensure hiring goals are met.
- Support diversity initiatives and the company employment brand.
- Use social media, job boards, and internet sourcing to find talent.
- Learn about employee benefits, compensation, and incentive programs to share with candidates.
- Maintain regular communication with hiring managers and ensure a positive experience for all candidates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program, preferably in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or Agriculture.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous internship experience in HR or recruiting is a plus.
- An agricultural background is preferred.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings if required for the role.
Location & details#
- This position is 100% remote. Ideal candidates live or attend school in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, or Illinois.
- This is a full-time internship requiring at least 32 hours per week.
- Availability during core business hours, typically 8 am to 5 pm Central Time, is expected.
