About the role#
Gulf Companies is hiring an Engineering Intern to support our project teams in Houston. This role provides on-the-job training while you work under the close supervision of our Lead and Chief Engineers. Your work will be reviewed for accuracy and alignment with project scopes and procedures.
What you'll do#
- Perform basic engineering tasks and functions.
- Participate in structured on-the-job training.
- Work under the guidance of senior engineering staff.
- Operate in an office environment with standard physical demands like sitting and computer use.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program at an ABET accredited university.
- Majors accepted include Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Between 0 and 3 years of engineering experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
