About the role#
Join the Electronic Systems Engineering organization as a collegiate intern focused on avionics and airborne software development. You will work on technologies that enable aircraft navigation, communications, flight deck systems, and integrated avionics architectures. This role involves collaborating with systems and software engineers to support the development, integration, verification, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems.
What you'll do#
- Support the development, integration, verification, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems.
- Work on projects involving software development, systems analysis, and requirements validation.
- Perform laboratory testing, model-based development, network analysis, or aircraft integration activities.
- Utilize software development tools, simulation environments, and hardware-in-the-loop labs.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Completion of sophomore year prior to the start date.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which must be listed on your resume.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Savannah, GA beginning in January 2027.
