About the role#
As a Planning Analyst Intern at Hantz Group, you will join our Family Office team. You will work directly with Financial Advisors to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. This role focuses on the intersection of tax planning, insurance, and overall client financial health. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your degree requirements.
What you'll do#
- Act as a liaison between Financial Advisors and product providers.
- Review new business daily to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage a caseload of communications, including phone calls and emails, to support the funding process for client accounts.
- Study for and obtain your Property and Casualty license.
- Follow all industry rules and regulations.
- Pursue additional FINRA securities licenses as opportunities arise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- A genuine interest in a career within financial services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Effective time management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work 20 to 25 hours per week.

- This position is based on-site in Bay City, Michigan.
- The internship is paid.
- This is a part-time, rolling term position.
