About the role#
As a Tax Intern at Hantz Group, you will join our Family Office to gain hands-on experience in tax accounting. You will work alongside CPAs, Accountants, and Financial Advisors to understand the relationship between tax strategies and financial services. This role offers flexible hours to accommodate your degree progress.
What you'll do#
- Analyze tax liability for clients.
- Prepare tax projections.
- Assist the Tax Team in providing client services.
- Attend internal meetings and training sessions.
- Follow all industry rules and regulations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Intent to complete the Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license.
- Ability to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work with accountability.
