About the role#
As a Planning Analyst Intern at Hantz Group, you will join our Family Office team to gain hands on experience in financial services. You will work alongside Financial Advisors to understand how insurance and tax planning impact client financial health. This role offers flexible hours to support your academic schedule while you build your professional foundation.
What you'll do#
- Act as a liaison between Financial Advisors and product providers.
- Review new business daily to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage communications, including phone calls and emails, to support the funding of customer accounts.
- Study for and obtain your Property and Casualty license.
- Follow all industry rules and regulations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics.
- A clear interest in a long term career in financial services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Analytical problem solving skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.

- Location: Marquette, Michigan.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: This is a part time position requiring 20 to 25 hours per week on a rolling term.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
