About the role#
As a Planning Analyst Intern, you will join our Family Office to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. You will work directly with Financial Advisors to learn how tax planning and insurance contribute to a client's overall financial health. This role offers flexible hours to accommodate your degree program.
What you'll do#
- Act as a liaison between Financial Advisors and product providers.
- Review new business daily to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Follow up with providers and advisors to settle transactions.
- Manage a caseload of communications, including emails and phone calls, to support the funding process for customer accounts.
- Study for and obtain your Property & Casualty license.
- Comply with all industry rules and regulations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
- A genuine interest in a career in financial services.
- Availability to work 20 to 25 hours per week.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and use feedback to improve your work.

- Location: Tecumseh, Michigan.
- This is an on-site, paid internship.
- The position operates on a rolling basis.
