About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring a Psychotherapist Intern for our outpatient clinic in Lutz. This is a paid, full-time position with a hybrid work schedule. You will work as an independent contractor, allowing you to determine your own working hours. Our offices are open for in-person and telehealth appointments Monday through Thursday, with additional opportunities for telemedicine work Friday through Sunday. You may choose to work 50% via telemedicine from the start of your employment.
What you'll do#
- Conduct psychological assessments, provide diagnoses, and deliver therapeutic interventions.
- Offer various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services to patients.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
- Complete documentation for all services in compliance with company policies.
What you'll need#
- A master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Prior work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Lutz, Florida.
- Compensation: $35 to $40 per billable hour.
