About the role#
Harris Williams is hiring 2027 M&A Summer Associates for our Minneapolis office. This role offers a realistic experience that simulates the responsibilities of a full-time associate. You will work on live transactions alongside banking professionals to gain insight into the deal process.
What you'll do#
- Drive work forward in partnership with analysts.
- Engage directly with clients and senior bankers.
- Collaborate within deal teams to advance multiple workstreams.
- Deliver high-quality, client-ready work products.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program such as Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting.
- Strong learning agility and a proactive approach to feedback.
- Clear communication skills for both internal and client-facing discussions.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- A working understanding of financial statements, including income statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
