About the role#
Hatch is hiring a Construction Coordinator Technologist Co-op for the Winter 2027 term. You will report to the Lead Construction Services within the Water Business Unit. This role is based in our Mississauga office and offers a hybrid work arrangement. You will contribute to infrastructure projects while gaining hands-on experience in both office and construction site environments.
What you'll do#
- Support the team with site technical issues.
- Manage construction documentation, including submittals, shop drawings, and Requests for Information.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and compliance with project drawings and specifications.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with preparing field material requisitions.
- Prepare punch lists for project completion.
- Maintain high safety standards across all assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Engineering Technology program focused on Construction Management, Civil, Electrical, I&C, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong academic performance paired with active involvement in extra-curricular or volunteer activities.
- A solid grasp of engineering and business fundamentals as they relate to project challenges.
- A willingness to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities.
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team with clear communication skills.
