About the role#
As a GIS Intern, you will work on projects to develop and implement geospatial and data visualization solutions. You will work under direct supervision, collaborating with GIS staff and project teams while participating in mentoring and professional development programs.
What you'll do#
- Assist with spatial analysis, map production, data editing, and GIS database management using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
- Support field data collection and perform quality assurance and quality control on GIS datasets.
- Contribute to various project assignments and perform other duties as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program or a degree program in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Science, Planning, Environmental Science, or Computer Science.
- Knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
- Experience with ArcGIS Online web maps, dashboards, Field Maps, Survey123, or Python scripting is preferred.

- This is an on-site role based in Round Rock, Texas.
- The position is paid and full-time.
