About the role#
Heartland ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one services for children with Autism. This part-time position involves working directly with clients to implement care plans and help them build new skills. You will work as part of a clinical team to support independence and positive behavior. We offer fellowship and internship opportunities for those looking to accumulate clinical hours.
What you'll do#
- Provide one-on-one ABA services in client homes or community settings.
- Implement skill-building and care plans designed to support positive behavior.
- Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
- Foster a positive learning environment and communicate with families.
- Serve as an active member of our clinical team.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current RBT certification is required before starting work.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
- A willingness to learn and a commitment to working with children with Autism.
- Ability to commit to a 6-month tenure.
