About the role#
The Research & Analytics Intern will work in our lab to support business operations. You will learn to use specialized instruments and techniques while assisting the team with research projects. This role involves compiling test results for use in charts, reports, and presentations.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research projects focused on current and future business opportunities.
- Set up and calibrate laboratory instruments for sample analysis.
- Prepare samples for testing with high accuracy.
- Record, review, and verify results using Good Documentation Practices, GLPs, and GMPs.
- Analyze and report research findings.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds, standing, walking through the plant, and repetitive motions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Agricultural Engineering.
- Completion of your sophomore year by the start of the internship.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Experience in a research or quality lab, or a food manufacturing environment, is a plus.
- Ability to work extended hours, including daily overtime or occasional weekends as needed.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site position located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- The role follows a rolling term schedule.
