About the role#
Heidelberg Materials is looking for a Project Engineer Intern to join our team in Lexington, South Carolina. This is a full-time, paid internship that involves both office-based tasks and field work at our fly ash project sites. You will gain hands-on experience in industrial project management while working with our engineering teams.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and execution of projects related to fly ash systems and infrastructure.
- Help with technical evaluations and review engineering designs.
- Gather and analyze data to help improve process performance and system reliability.
- Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate project tasks and manage documentation.
- Visit project sites to monitor progress and ensure all work meets safety standards.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others.
- A genuine interest in industrial project management and engineering applications.
