    About the role#

    Heidelberg Materials is hiring a Mining Engineer Intern for a paid, full-time position. This role is based on-site in Coeymans, New York, and follows a rolling term. You will work with construction managers to support daily project operations.

    What you'll do#

    • Support project planning and daily coordination tasks.
    • Monitor project progress to keep work on track with budgets and timelines.
    • Prepare and review reports, schedules, and various project documents.
    • Work with team members to find solutions for project challenges.
    • Visit sites to observe construction activities and confirm safety standards are met.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to learn new concepts quickly.
    • An interest in gaining practical experience in construction management.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Coeymans, NY.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $23.00 to $29.00 per hour.
    • Conditions: Candidates must pass a post-offer physical exam, drug and alcohol screen, and background check. The work environment includes exposure to moving equipment, varying weather conditions, and elevated noise levels.
