About the role#
Hexagon Autonomous Solutions is hiring a Defense Engineering Intern to join our Aerospace and Defense team in Calgary. You will work alongside electrical, software, and system engineers on our GNSS Anti-jam product portfolio, including the GAJT product line. This role provides hands-on experience in hardware, software, and system design and verification.
What you'll do#
- Design, execute, and document verification methods for Antijam products.
- Troubleshoot failing tests and units under test.
- Perform test automation and postprocessing using Python and Matlab.
- Contribute to the design of Antijam product hardware or software.
- Participate in design reviews.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Electrical Engineering program at an accredited institution.
- Completion of at least your 2nd or 3rd year of studies by the start of the term.
- Registration in an Engineering Internship or Co-op program.
- Availability for a 12-month work term.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with Python and Matlab is preferred, as is an interest in RF circuit design, signals and systems, or embedded software design.
