    About the role#

    As a Summer Analyst in Investment Management, you will gain hands-on experience working with teams focused on the commercial real estate investment process. You will work on Hines assets and explore new business lines while receiving guidance from experienced professionals. You will also complete a capstone project and present your findings to leadership at the end of the summer.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with the underwriting of new projects and the management of operating properties.
    • Conduct market research, due diligence, and financial analysis.
    • Vet potential investments and research new markets or product types.
    • Collaborate with an assigned team to contribute to property decisions.

    What you'll need#

    • Strong math and quantitative aptitude.
    • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to solve problems creatively and manage multiple projects at once.
    • Current standing as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior planning to enter a graduate program immediately.
    • Preferred academic backgrounds include Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.

    • This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship for Summer 2026.
    • Locations: Houston, Texas or New York, New York.
