About the role#
As an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Intern, you will join a team that designs, develops, and integrates complex software applications. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to AI projects and working alongside engineers and researchers to develop innovative solutions for industrial applications.
What you'll do#
- Model, build, and test AI software to process large datasets and achieve specific results.
- Use Python, JavaScript, and C++ to create faster and more capable AI systems.
- Evaluate statistics, data, and algorithms to improve productivity for assets, people, and processes.
- Collaborate with machine-learning and data engineers to integrate AI solutions.
- Collect, organize, and present your progress to team leadership and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field.
- Must graduate in December 2027 or later.
- Must continue enrollment in your degree program after the internship ends.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is on-site in North Carolina.
- Relocation benefits and short-term housing are provided if your assigned work location is 50 miles or more from your residence.
