About the role#
We are looking for a Construction Management Intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. This position offers hands-on experience across multiple areas of construction, including field management, project management, preconstruction services, safety, and virtual design. You will work on-site and participate in the daily operations required to deliver complex projects.
What you'll do#
- Manage project finances, maintain contract documents, and issue subcontracts.
- Lead on-site activities throughout the construction process to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate and conduct job site safety inspections to support our health management system.
- Assist with the preparation of bid packages and evaluate subcontractor bids.
- Create and run clash detection on 3D BIM models using industry software.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil, mechanical, or industrial engineering, architecture, or construction management.
- Genuine interest in the construction industry and a desire to learn.
- Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions, and perform physical activities like walking, standing, and climbing.
- Availability for non-traditional hours, including early mornings and evenings, as project needs require.
