About the role#
As a TS&D Intern, you will support our chemists with research projects and daily operations within the laboratory. This is a full-time, on-site role for the Summer 2027 term. You will report to the Director of Technology and contribute to our commitment to quality products and services.
What you'll do#
- Assist chemists with lab requests and ongoing research projects.
- Prepare samples for Water Treatment, Distribution, FP, and Foam Control.
- Follow laboratory safety techniques and all relevant SOPs.
- Ship small quantities of hazardous materials.
- Participate in required training for RCRA, regulatory, and health and safety compliance.
- Review your work and any process changes with your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior status in a Chemistry degree program.
- Completed coursework in Analytical, Physical, and Organic Chemistry, including associated labs.
- Strong laboratory analytical skills and the ability to apply advanced math.
- Proficiency with basic computer tasks and MS Office.
- Good communication skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English.
- A self-motivated approach to problem solving.
- Must be RCRA compliant.
