About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment. You will support daily operations, contribute to ongoing projects, and help with continuous improvement initiatives. The role is designed to build your technical, analytical, and professional skills while you assist in meeting operational goals.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team with daily tasks and active projects.
- Collect and organize data to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Track KPIs, metrics, and general performance indicators.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Coordinate workflows between departments.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for quality and efficiency.
- Follow company safety rules and policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Associate degree program in Computer, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Human Resources.
- A strong interest in manufacturing and process improvement.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Location & details#
- Location: Gastonia, North Carolina.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday.
- Terms: This is a paid, rolling internship.
- Physical requirements: You may need to stand, walk, or lift up to 25 lbs occasionally in both office and manufacturing floor settings.
