About the role#
This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Redondo Beach, California. You will spend 12 weeks working on-site, contributing to spacecraft development through embedded software engineering.
What you'll do#
- Write embedded code on custom avionics hardware for ground test and flight functions.
- Collaborate with engineers across avionics, propulsion, and GNC teams.
- Perform bench testing on new hardware components.
- Develop code for flight operations.
- Automate test and manufacturing equipment.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in writing embedded code for custom avionics hardware.
- Experience or coursework in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Ability to work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Experience with bench testing and hardware automation.
