About the role#
As an RF Test Engineering Intern, you will support the development, automation, and execution of test systems for spacecraft communication hardware and integrated RF subsystems. This role focuses on lab bring-up, test automation, and data-driven validation of hardware. You will work alongside RF, avionics, software, and manufacturing teams to enable scalable hardware testing.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain automated test infrastructure.
- Validate spacecraft communication hardware and integrated RF subsystems.
- Improve overall test efficiency.
- Support RF system integration and characterization from prototype through production.
- Perform lab bring-up and execute test procedures.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Interest in combining RF engineering fundamentals with software and automation tools.
- Ability to work in development environments.
- Ability to support the development, automation, and execution of RF test systems.
Location & details#
- Location: Redondo Beach, California.
- Term: Summer 2027 (12 weeks, from May/June through August/September).
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
