About the role#
This internship offers graduate students the chance to contribute to semiconductor technologies that power high-performance computing, AI, and advanced devices. You will work alongside engineering teams to solve complex problems and support manufacturing operations at scale.
What you'll do#
- Apply graduate-level technical expertise to improve semiconductor processes and manufacturing solutions.
- Use analytics, modeling, simulation, and experimentation to address engineering challenges.
- Improve yield, quality, reliability, and performance through data-driven insights.
- Partner with technology teams to accelerate next-generation innovations.
- Enable safe, sustainable, and efficient manufacturing operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master’s degree or PhD program in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related STEM field.
- At least 3 months of experience gained through research, laboratory work, internships, or academic projects.
- Experience with programming, automation, visualization tools, modeling, simulation, or design of experiments.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.

- Locations: Hillsboro, Oregon; Phoenix, Arizona; or Albuquerque, New Mexico.
- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Employment type: Full-time.
