About the role#
INTRUST Bank offers a 12-week technology internship during the summer of 2027. You will work alongside professionals to contribute to real projects and gain experience in the financial services industry. The program includes departmental rotations, a capstone research project, and internal development sessions.
What you'll do#
- Support the Technology Business Unit with hardware, software, and system maintenance.
- Provide technical support and assist with troubleshooting issues.
- Document processes and solutions found during your work.
- Manage assigned tasks and projects to meet specific timelines.
- Work with internal and external parties to maintain applications and perform system upgrades.
- Assist with IT support in areas such as programming, analytics, AI, machine learning, and help desk services.
- Use critical thinking to protect bank systems and data.
- Complete a capstone research project and participate in departmental rotations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, MIS, Business Information Systems, Business, or an Engineering field with an IT focus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with minimal supervision.
- A desire to learn new technologies and process information quickly.
- Previous IT experience is a plus.

- Location: Wichita, Kansas.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 17 to August 6).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
