About the role#
This internship offers a 9-week program during the summer of 2027 within Invesco Real Estate. You will be placed on either the Credit or Equity team. The Credit team focuses on financing solutions for commercial real estate, while the Equity team manages direct property investments across various sectors like multifamily, industrial, and office. You will gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship, and participate in professional development workshops.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to all Invesco Real Estate business lines and multiple asset classes.
- Participate in training sessions covering business facets, professional skills, and networking.
- Assist with internal and external client meetings, contract negotiations, and due diligence.
- Prepare and update property and portfolio financial models using Excel and Argus.
- Support the creation of written evaluations for investment opportunities.
- Complete real-world case studies and lead an end-of-summer capstone project.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program as a rising Junior, graduating by summer 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, technical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Note that the company does not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
- Preferred: Demonstrated curiosity about finance and capital markets, prior real estate internship experience, or familiarity with Argus Enterprise.
