About the role#
As an Application Engineering Co-op, you will work on engineering projects and gain exposure to standard engineering practices. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position running from January through August 2027. You will also participate in career readiness programming to build professional skills for your future career.
What you'll do#
- Support centrifugal pump selection and assist with proposal generation.
- Review and interpret customer specifications.
- Complete training in Pump Fundamentals.
- Learn to read and interpret pump curves.
- Build knowledge of pump anatomy, mechanics, operation, and common symptoms.
- Develop an understanding of pump hydraulics and system curves.
- Participate in special projects focused on process improvements.
- Gain exposure to manufacturing processes related to pump production.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior undergraduate student.
- Major in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering.

- This role is located in Stafford, Texas.
- This is an on-site position.
- The term covers Winter and Summer 2027.
- This is a paid position.
