About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to the Capital Markets group at JLL. You will work alongside analysts to support real estate investments and acquisitions. This full-time, paid position is designed for students to gain insight into the commercial real estate industry through hands-on research and analysis.
What you'll do#
- Assist with writing market research by gathering and analyzing statistics, demographics, and traffic counts.
- Support the valuation of listings using Argus and Excel.
- Prepare lease abstracts by reviewing and summarizing lease documents.
- Help with the due diligence process for transactions.
- Create marketing materials, including teasers and offering memorandums, by designing charts and graphics.
- Collect data on rent rolls, tenant profiles, and demographics.
- Provide general support to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a college or university junior, graduating in Summer 2028.
- Permanent work authorization in the United States.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Real Estate.
- Strong writing, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external clients.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with Argus, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop is preferred.

- Location: Houston, Texas (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027).
- Employment type: Full-time.
