    About the role#

    John Deere is hiring a part-time student for a software engineering role during the Summer 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in Cary, North Carolina.

    What you'll do#

    You will assist the team with the development and testing of software applications. Your work involves troubleshooting existing issues, debugging code, and documenting development processes. You will also participate in code reviews, contribute to team discussions, and help design new features.

    What you'll need#

    We are looking for students currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. You should have knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or C++. Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies is required. We value strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team.
