About the role#
This is a part-time student position within the Advanced Engineering Student Program. You will work alongside engineering personnel in Fargo to support ongoing projects and technical development. This role is designed for students who want to work year-round while maintaining their academic schedule.
What you'll do#
- Support Advanced Engineering projects through experiments, testing, and data analysis.
- Document your results in an organized way for review by your supervisor.
- Operate and maintain analytical laboratory equipment.
- Assemble and disassemble electronic modules and fixtures using hand tools.
- Perform other technical tasks as assigned by your mentor or supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current registration as a full-time student at an accredited university.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Computer, Industrial, or Environmental Engineering, or Physics or Chemistry.
- Completion of at least one year of study in a Science or Engineering field.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- An expected graduation date of Spring 2027 or later.
- Ability to work 16 to 20 hours per week during the school year, with the potential for up to 32 hours during summer semesters.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Fargo, North Dakota.
- Daily commuting to the office is required as relocation assistance is not provided.
- This is a paid, part-time position.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
