    About the role#

    This is a part-time position for a student to support manufacturing operations at our Dubuque facility. You will work alongside our full-time staff throughout the year, balancing your professional duties with your academic schedule. This role requires on-site attendance in Dubuque, Iowa.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide daily support and basic troubleshooting for manufacturing operations.
    • Identify and carry out ideas to reduce costs.
    • Implement improvements related to quality, safety, and ergonomics within a limited scope.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment as a full-time student at a local accredited university.
    • Pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Welding Engineering.
    • A cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
    • An expected graduation date of Spring 2027 or later.
    • The ability to commute to the Dubuque, IA site daily.
    • Availability to work 16 to 20 hours per week during the school year and 35 to 40 hours per week during the summer.
