    About the role#

    John Deere is hiring a Part-Time Student Quality Engineer for the Summer 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in Waterloo, Iowa. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with quality improvement initiatives.
    • Support quality audits and compliance tasks.
    • Analyze data to track quality metrics.
    • Take part in root cause analysis and corrective action work.
    • Create documentation for quality processes.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering degree program.
    • Ability to solve problems and analyze data.
    • Familiarity with quality engineering principles.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Experience working in a team environment.
