About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern at CNH, you will design, develop, and maintain software and computer systems. You will apply engineering principles to create solutions for various needs, ranging from individual applications to large-scale systems. This role involves a mix of coding, testing, and debugging to ensure software is efficient and user-friendly.
What you'll do#
- Write, develop, and document new or modified software programs.
- Test and prepare software applications for installation.
- Troubleshoot software issues and provide training for end users.
- Analyze software needs to provide business support.
- Research and select technical data relevant to your assigned projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external sources to gather data for engineering requirements.
- Manage software assets, including maintenance contracts.
- Prepare and present technical reports and project recommendations.
- Participate in department improvement activities.
- Support the quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong skills in problem analysis and problem solving.
