About the role#
The Software Engineer Intern supports engineering and product development projects. You will assist with software development, testing, documentation, and prototyping. This role involves both current projects and research tasks.
What you'll do#
- Create spread pattern simulations in Matlab using existing data.
- Build programs that allow other engineers to run simulations with new test data.
- Simulate field spreading applications to measure precision.
- Research sensor technology to improve spreading capabilities.
- Use software to interpret complex sensor data.
- Perform software testing and controls for NLM products.
- Operate test equipment and review application development.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor degree in Software, Mechanical, Systems, Agricultural, or Electrical Engineering.
- A GPA of 2.7 or higher.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and solid modeling.
- Proven skills in organization, critical thinking, and teamwork.
