About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work with the Flexible Support Services program. You will support youth and families by helping them navigate systems, improve relationships, and develop skills to function well in their homes and communities. This role serves children and young adults up to age 22 who have mental health diagnoses.
What you'll do#
- Learn new clinical interventions to support youth and families.
- Apply your clinical knowledge using evidence based and culturally competent models.
- Build your documentation skills and gain experience with electronic medical records.
- Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide care.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Master's degree program or higher in social work or counseling.
- A clinical interest in working with children and adolescents.
- Familiarity with trauma informed treatment models is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to pass background and driving record checks.
